Spain Announces Ten Days of National Mourning for Corona Deaths

The Spanish government has announced ten days of national mourning for the victims of the coronavirus.

 

That said the government spokesman Maria Jesus Montero Tuesday after the cabinet.

The mourning period starts on Wednesday.

In Spain, more than 26,000 people have been killed by the virus. It is one of the hardest-hit countries in the world.

During the mourning period, all flags at government buildings and naval ships hang at half-mast.

At the end of the ten days, a ceremony is held in memory of the corona dead.
