Russian dissident Alexei Navalny has been poisoned, his spokesman said on Twitter.
The opposition politician who is outspokenly critical of President Vladimir Putin is said to have fallen ill on board a flight from Tomsk to Moscow.

The plane landed in the city of Omsk, where Navalny is said to have been taken to a hospital.
According to his spokesman, Navalny was also poisoned in prison last year. “Apparently, they did the same to him now,” said the spokesman.
She says she believes that poison has been put in Navalni’s tea. “It was the only thing he drank in the morning. Doctors say the hot liquid absorbed the poison faster.”
