Poland Suspects 45 Russian Diplomats of Espionage

Poland suspects 45 Russian diplomats in the country of espionage. They would work for the secret service of Russia. The Russian ambassador in Warsaw has been summoned.

 

The list was drawn up by the Polish intelligence service ABW. He has asked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to expel the diplomats from the country.

However, Russia says it will come up with a counter-action if the diplomats are actually deported, Russian news agency RIA Novosti reported.

Last week, a Polish citizen was arrested in Warsaw on suspicion of spying for Russian secret services. This person worked at the registry office and had access to two more archives.

The suspect will remain in custody for at least three months.
