Spain is Gently Relaxing Coronavirus Measures

As of Monday, several non-essential companies, closed since March 30 to stop the spread of the coronavirus, are allowed to resume operations.

A decision that met with a lot of criticism, as the death rate rose again on Sunday with 619 deaths.

Industrial and construction companies had to close the doors of the government two weeks ago to limit the number of coronavirus infections.

These employees, who cannot do their work from home, can now go back to work. As a result, part of the economic activities in the country can resume.

However, the measure is not relaxed for shops, businesses specializing in entertainment and leisure. Bars and restaurants also remain closed.
