Italy reports the lowest number of new corona infections in 24 hours since March 13, more than a month ago. 2667 cases were added.
The day before, nearly 3,000 new infections were involved.
In total, there are more than 165,000 registered infections. At least 21,645 people succumbed to the coronavirus.
The severely affected Italy is regarded as the European source of the virus, but Spain now has more infections.
