Paris Also Wants to Make Masks Mandatory in Shopping Streets and Queues

In the French capital Paris, the wearing of a face mask is mandatory in shopping streets and queues, for example for authorities, attractions and museums.

The metropolis beloved by tourists wants to nip the second wave of corona infections in the bud.

The mayor of the city submitted a request to the regional government to extend the mask.

Wearing a mouth mask should also apply to the famous banks of the River Seine, parks and gardens, and outdoor food markets.

Face masks were already required in public transport, museums and supermarkets.
