A heavy explosion took place in an explosives factory in northern Greece on Monday morning.
The Greek fire brigade has reported on Twitter that the factory is located 20 kilometres from the city of Grevena. The explosion could also have been heard there.
“Explosion in an explosives factory in Agalaios, Grevena. Four fire engines are on the scene,” the fire service wrote on Twitter.
According to eyewitnesses to Greek media, the factory has been razed to the ground. There are two injured and three missings. The latter would be the factory guards.
