Golfer Tiger Woods supports all the reactions from players and fans after his solemn car accident in the Los Angeles area last week.
“You are helping me through this difficult time,” declared the former number 1 in the world, who sustained severe injuries to one leg.
At tournaments last weekend, many players wore a red shirt and black pants, something Woods always does on the closing day.
“It hurt me a lot when I saw you in these clothes on television,” said 45-year-old Woods from his sickbed. “It was amazing.”
Woods was extremely injured in a one-sided accident in his SUV, which he upturned numerous times and had to be unfettered from his vehicle by the fire subdivision.
He experienced emergency surgery for some open fractures on his right leg and a crushed ankle.
