Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro was released from hospital two days after being rushed to the hospital for a bowel obstruction.
“Get fired now. Thanks, everyone,” Bolsonaro said on Twitter. Attached is a photo of the president and doctors, with all of them raising their thumbs up.
On Tuesday, it was announced that Bolsonaro had responded well to his treatment and that the blockage in his intestines had been resolved. The president has problems with his bowels because he was stabbed in the stomach in 2018. That happened while he was campaigning as a presidential candidate.
Bolsonaro became ill while on holiday in his own country. He flew to São Paulo in the night from Sunday to Monday, where he was immediately admitted to a private hospital.
