The number of detected infections with the new coronavirus in Russia has increased by 10,699 in the past 24 hours. That is less than a day earlier.
However, the daily increase in the number of diagnosed patients for the sixth day in a row is above 10,000.
This brings the total number of infected persons in Russia to 187,859.
On Thursday, Russia reported a record 11,231 identified cases of contamination in the previous 24 hours.
The Russian authorities report that 98 deaths with the coronavirus were regretted in the last 24 hours.
A total of 1723 Russians succumbed to the lung virus.
