The Top Figure in White House Has Long Been Ill With Coronavirus

A top figure in the White House security apparatus, Crede Bailey, was hospitalized with Covid-19 in September and is seriously ill.

Bailey has contracted the virus long before the September 26 rally in the White House rose garden where President Trump spoke about the nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett as the new Chief Justice, according to sources from Bloomberg news agency.

At least a dozen infections with the virus in the White House have been linked to that meeting.

Bailey is head of the bureau that monitors who gains access to the White House complex.

He works closely with other security services and is usually active throughout the complex. The White House has no comment on the message.
