More than 100 Palestinians have been injured in clashes with police in Jerusalem. Twenty officers were also injured. That happened during protests on the night from Thursday to Friday.
The Palestinians, according to Israeli media, waged a counter-protest when far-right Jews held an anti-Arab demonstration.
As agents tried to separate the two parties, they collided with Palestinians who, among other things, threw stones at them.
Agents used, among other things, tear gas and water cannons to disperse the Palestinian demonstrators. After a very restless night, the Palestinian Red Cross reports that it had treated 105 people.
About twenty of them are in hospital. Three of the twenty injured officers have been hospitalized. Local media report that more than 50 people have been arrested.
