Madrid Eases Lockdown: Terraces Can Open Again

The corona lockdown in Madrid will be partly lifted on Monday. The Spanish authorities announced this on Friday.

 

The terraces in the capital reopen and meetings with up to ten people are allowed again.

The coronavirus in Madrid is losing ground and is less likely to take hold than before. Therefore, it is possible to relax some measures, according to the local health authority.

Spain is the most affected country in Europe in terms of contamination.

More than 280,000 people have been infected with the virus, nearly 28,000 have died as a result.
