Corona Support Package Biden Steps Closer After Senate Vote

US President Joe Biden’s corona support package has come to a step closer. After a long meeting, the US Senate approved the package’s budget of $ 1,900 billion.

The proposal narrowly made it with 51 to 50 votes. Vice President Kamala Harris had to come in handy to break the deadlock.

The Senate has made many changes to the plan. As a result, the House of Representatives, which previously agreed to it, has to vote again.

For example, the Senate passed an amendment calling for more support for hospitals in rural areas.

During the campaign for president, one of Biden’s most significant promises was the large support package. The corona pandemic has killed more than 450,000 Americans.

Millions have lost their jobs as a result of the crisis.
