American billionaire and former New York mayor Michael Bloomberg is putting even more money into the campaign of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.
He is allocating $ 15 million for the Texas and Ohio campaigns in the last week before the Nov. 3 presidential election, The New York Times reported.
In both states, Trump won in 2016 and they could be crucial to the outcome of the upcoming polls.
Bloomberg himself tried to become the Democratic presidential candidate with a lot of money, but that was a disappointment for him. He was accused, among other things, of “wanting to buy the elections”. Three other Democrats including the eventual winner in the Democratic race passed him.
Bloomberg has subsequently said it might have as much as 84.5 million euros for Biden’s campaign.
He has already spent a lot of money in Florida to help Biden, and according to his employees, extra money is being thrown in the last days before the election. Trump narrowly won in Florida in 2016.
