Stefanos Tsitsipas has qualified for the semi-finals of the Australian Open at the expense of Rafael Nadal.
The Greek fought back from a hopeless position and in five sets prevented Nadal from capturing his 21st grand slam title on Sunday: 3-6 2-6 7-6 (4) 6-4 7-5.
In the semi-final battle, Tsitsipas will take on the Russian Daniil Medvedev on Friday, who bossed his compatriot Andrej Roeblev in three sets earlier in the day.
34-year-old Nadal could have won his 21st grand slam title in Melbourne, a record.
The number 2 in the world remains together with Roger Federer on 20 titles. Novak Djokovic is on 17.
