The spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry mocked the new British Prime Minister, Liz Truss, on Wednesday. That reports the French news agency AFP.
“Sometimes we ask ourselves: is it really the case that in countries with large populations and a long democratic tradition, there is no one who can represent the different branches of power in a dignified, professional and sensible way,” said Maria Zakharova, quoted by the official TASS news agency.
Earlier, the Kremlin had announced it expects “no changes” in its relationship with the United Kingdom, with Truss nearing the head of the British government.
