A day later, officers were able to arrest the boy’s 33-year-old mother. Agents had discovered that she was staying with friends or family in Choisy-le-Roi, about 30 kilometres from home. She was taken to the police station, where she will be questioned about the death of her child and her disappearance. The woman, who suffers from psychological problems, has been arrested for voluntary manslaughter of a minor under 15 years of age.
