American citizens have the right to know who President Donald Trump owes money to, said the vice presidential candidate, Kamala Harris, referring to Trump’s financial data recently published by The New York Times.
“We now know that Donald Trump owes money and is in debt in the hundreds of millions,” Harris said in the debate with Vice President Mike Pence over the revelations.
“It would be excellent to know to whom the President of the United States and the Commander-in-Chief owes money.”
Pence evasively stated that Trump has released “piles” of financial statements and praised his economic policies.
“Joe Biden is going to increase your taxes from day one,” Pence said not much later. Harris retorted to the contrary.
Joe Biden will not raise taxes for anyone who earns less than $ 400,000 a year, the Democratic senator said.
