Twitter Launches New Developer Tools

Twitter Launches New Developer Tools

Twitter has launched its API software with some delay. This allows developers to work better with data from the platform.

The tools give developers access to public data from Twitter. Usually, the software would be available earlier, but the platform’s recent hack, which involved hacking the accounts of several celebrities, slowed the rollout.

Twitter has had an API (application programming interface) for some time but has built the new version entirely from scratch.

This version is more comfortable for developers to use, according to Twitter, and makes it possible to follow better things like polls, pinned tweets or threads on Twitter. It is also easier to filter out spam or other things.

Developers who want to get started with the new tools from Twitter can do so in the developer portal of the site.
