More Than 366,000 Ukrainian Refugees in Germany

Eight weeks after the start of the Russian attack on Ukraine, Germany has received more than 366,000 Ukrainians, the interior ministry in Berlin reports, according to police figures.

 

The exact number is unknown, as there are no systematic border controls. In addition, Ukrainians can stay in EU countries for 90 days without a visa.

More than 2000 war refugees still enter Germany every day. It is mainly women, children and the elderly.

More than 5 million Ukrainians have now fled their country, but 1 million have already returned for a short or long visit to their homeland.
