Cisco announces its intention to acquire SnapAttack, a threat detection platform.
Cisco announced that the acquired company, headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, USA, will provide critical threat detection and engineering (TD/E) technology and intellectual property.

Additionally, according to Cisco, SnapAttack helps many customers migrate from competing solutions to Splunk Enterprise Security, quickly adapting, deploying, and validating their existing security content on Splunk and modernizing their SIEM with a TD/E solution.
